My pregnancy cravings are driving me crazy!
Right now, I am looking for the not-too-sweet, not-too-big, jam-filled doughnuts of my childhood. I have found some miniature ones in the frozen section of Trader Joe's, but also want a fresh alternative. The Fractured Prune in Silver Spring makes only unfilled doughnuts with holes. Any recommendations in the Bethesda Silver Spring areas? Thank you! |
Are you just looking for a regular jelly doughnut? If so, you can just try Dunkin in Bethesda. Also, lost of grocery stores have a fresh doughnut section in the bakery and carry those powedered jelly filled ones. Mmmmm, now I want one!
Trader Joes, frozen section. Frozen raspberry filled sugar coated donuts.
Krispy Kreme glazed jelly doughnuts
I hear ya! Breads Unlimited has good jam-filled and other doughnuts. It's in the Bradley Shopping Center by the intersection of Arlington Rd. and Bradley Blvd. (Strosnider's and Bruce Variety also are there).
