Boys and Girls DA vs. Boys and Girls ECNL

For those with both boys and girls, or prefer general discussion of these leagues, please discuss the pros and cons of the two leagues here.

Boys da seems to be the undisputed top league for competitive boy players. Girls side us a mess. Gda in some regions, ecnl in others.

Does anyone know when rosters for 2018-2019 will be published? After the respective DA and ECNL showcases/tournaments? We’re starting to piece together who’s on my kid’s roster for next year but i’m Still interested in who moved between clubs and/or leagues. Probably more applicable to girls than to boys.

OMG. Not until late August will the respective leagues publish rosters. Relax, when you go to your first practice you’ll know.

Just do a boys ECNL vs DA. Don't confuse the situation. If your experience with the boys side is relavnt to the girls then just post on the girls.

No need to be so harsh. It's pretty interesting to see the rosters. For boys DA, they won't post until after they playoffs end in late July. Typically most clubs have them up by mid August.

No, the harshness was necessary. The body on the 2017-18 season is not even cold and in a few instances still alive. Then there is the small thing with summer and all, so no, a reasonable person should not expect that 2018-19 rosters are going to be out soon. Hell, new age group teams likely have not even met yet, not mention taking their roster picture for the player card.

So, yes relax.

Now that said, on the issue of player movement, you might want to screen capture the 2017-18 rosters now while they are still up so that they can be compared to next years.

Hard to say this early. But since DA vs ECNL vs everything also includes boys and girls and may have simmered down from some of the craziness, I'm not sure this thread hits a niche yet.

Loudoun boys DAs rosters are out so, perhaps a little
too harsh. Obviously not on the DA website yet. But they’re out nonetheless.

Loudoun boys DAs rosters are out so, perhaps a little

I'm not sure boys will automatically jump ship just because DC United is coming. And not all the DC United coaches are "all that", nor are all the Loudoun coaches a bunch of boobs.
