Recs for a cute bed & breakfast or vineyard inn in Virginia?

Anonymous
Need a local, romantic getaway with the SO. Any recs for a nice place to stay overnight in Virginia, ideally with some rolling hills type scenery and good wine? I tried searching but "vineyard" brings back too many results for MV.

Barboursville Vineyards has amazing cottages and a great restaurant. DC side of Cville.

Clifton Inn? Had an amazing chef but it's been long time since I've stayed there

Not exactly your criteria, but Inn at Lost River in WV is only about 2 hrs away and makes a great adult getaway.

And as I have posted before, you don’t do a B&B for a “romantic” getaway.

Ashby Inn. Paris, VA. About a 1:20-1:30 drive west, mostlu on 66. Great restaurant, quaint rooms, nice breakfast. On the edge of the Shenandoah hills.

You’re not going to find “good” wine.

Smithfield farm B&B. Lovely grounds, not too far from a bunch of wineries

Not true if you go to Barboursville. Eat at Palladio. Stay at Ashby or Clifton. https://www.bbvwine.com/
