| Doesn't have to be kid-friendly. |
| Volt is supposed to be great, but haven't tried it yet. |
|
Yuan Fu on Rockville Pike near 28. It's vegetarian Chinese, but you would never know it's vegetarian.
|
| only moved here a few months ago, but so far Max's in Wheaton and A&J's in Rockville are my favorite for cheap eats. |
Volt is in Frederick county |
| Mannequin Pis in Olney. It's in a strip mall, but has repeatedly been in Washingtonian's best. It's dutch cuisine but I think it is run by an Indian family. They are famous for their variety of mussels dishes and for the dutch beer selection. |
i don't know if i'd call it The Best. but probably yes for The Best Vegetarian. i agree though, tastes hardly like it's not meat! |

i personally really like eating in wheaton. full key for cantonese, nava thai for thai. woomi garden for korean. max's kosher cafe for no frills schawarma and falafel. all the various peruvian chicken places.

| We eat at Parkers a lot especially since they made their Restaurant Week Prixe Fix menu a permanent special. DH's favorite sushi is Raku, while I like Aji Nippon. |
| We love Persimmon in Bethesda. It's not super adventurous, but the food, the wine, and the service are all great. Love the salad with duck confit! |
It's Belgian, not Dutch!! Moules et frites - classic Belgian dish. Mannequin Pis is the famous statue in Brussels of the little boy peeing. |
|
Udupi Palace in Takoma Park
Rays the Classics in Silver Spring Crisfield in Silver Spring Vace in Bethesda |
| Mannequin Pis is really good. I like Black's in Bethesda. Vace has great pizza but is only a take-out place. Mandalay in Silver Spring has good Burmese food and an interesting menu with lots of yummy selections. |
| I think Vace is overrated. |
Mandalay is quite good. I will vouch for it. |
