south jersey - private school auestions

Anonymous
This was the closest forum I could find since there is not a Philly one.

My 13 yr old nephew is very bright and has severe adhd and executive dysfunction. His grades have really slipped and he is in a pattern of lying and defiance. My sister is at her wits end because his public school is not implementing his 504 plan nor providing required supports. She wants to look at private school options but says that there are only super high academic workload schools or rigid catholic school options. Does anyone have suggestions for a possible peivate school fit in south jersey? Thank you.

He needs to have a lawyer who knows how to yell at school districts, and he needs a school aimed at "twice exceptional" kids.

His family could start here:

I'll bet the lawyer would know a lot about the twice exceptional school options in the kid's area. It looks like one in that area is the Calais School.

Also- visit the NAIS website. It will list private schools by state- you can narrow it down from there.
