And 9-1-1 won’t pickup... and the police won’t get there on time.

I once called 9–1-1 To report a terrible car accident outside my house. They put me on hold before I could say anything and then hung up on me.

Our school fire alarms are connected to 911. You have to call. \_O_/

Teachers were explaining this on another thread about something else, can't remember now! Glad it's finally made the news.

Every person in DGS working with schools should be fired, not just for this but for every other safety violation that never gets fixed.

Which schools in NWDC have doors without locks??

Will they fix this over the summer?

Our PTA paid for alarms to be installed on rear doors in the aftermath of Newtown. DCPS/DGS replaced said doors last summer. Guess what? Alarms were not reinstalled. Student safety is just not a priority.
