Le sirenuse in Positano or belmond Caruso in Ravello

Trying to decide between these 2 hotels on the Amalfi coast this summer. Both gorgeous - but Caruso seems nicer with Infiniti pool and lush gardens. Gorgeous views. But it is a hike down to anything. Le Sirenuse is in the thick of things in Positano. Pool doesn't seem as nice. Have heard they are not that welcoming of kids, we will be bringing a 12 year with us. Anyone have any experiences with either hotel?

Ravello. Hands down. It’s such a beautiful
, ethereal setting. Way up high in the clouds. And the hotel Caruso is lovely. Le sireneuse looks beautiful
In photos but the town is more touristy and the rooms are just ok. Ravello is private and secluded and gorgeous!!!!! There are lots of cute little restaurants in the square and nice ceramic shops. And a beautiful music school (I think that’s what it is) where you can go see a performance.

There’s lots to walk to in ravello. Enough to keep you busy for a two or three day visit. You can always take a taxi into amalfi or another town for a dinner or to do more shopping etc.

We liked Ravello much more than Positano. A little less touristy. The Caruso looked spectacular. We didn’t stay there but did walk through to check it out.
