| Just (2 days ago) got a significantly lower rate for a 1 week rental at carrental8.com. About $100 less than the same car with Costco, Hotwire, etc. Last year for the same trip Costco was the best. |

Aside from Costco...I tend to find the best rates directly on the car rental companies web site when I join their program/club. Most of the major companies offer something that is free to join. Once you join, you'll get a specific contract code that I have found is usually better than any other contract code I can find online. And often you can combine it with a coupon code.

| I make a placeholder reservation with Costco then type the info into Autoslash. Maybe 1/3 of the time autoslash finds me a rate that beats Costco. |
