Can I return or exchange an item without a receipt?
Receipts for Target.com purchases can be accessed and printed from your Target.com account.
We can also attempt to look up the receipt for store and Target.com purchases in store. Bring the item and the method of payment used to Guest Services within the return window allowed for that item (see Target Return Policy).
The store can look up receipts for purchases made with the following payment methods:
Target REDcard™ (Target Debit Card™, Target Credit Card™, Target™ Mastercard®)
Third-party Visa®, Mastercard®, American Express®, and Discover® credit cards
Checks: You must bring a blank check from the same checking account
Target GiftCards: You must have the physical Target GiftCard for look-up
If you don't have the receipt or packing slip for an item, you may receive a refund in the form of a merchandise return card.

When returning an item purchased from a Target Storefront™ Partner, you must provide the receipt or present the original method of payment for receipt lookup. Receipts for items sold by Partners are sent via email when the order is shipped, and again when the order is delivered. You can also print your receipt on your order details page.
