CBEFM Question

I've been using the CBEFM for about a year now. Recently it has been giving me readings that I find a bit suspect. It starts asking for test sticks on Day 7 and I immediately start getting High readings that last for 10 or more days. Over the last couple of months it has not given me a Peak reading, although from charting, it is pretty clear that I am ovulating most of those months. Do you think I should reset the monitor next month and start over? It just seems the readings aren't matching up with my temps and charts.

I think they have a customer service line that you can call with questions like that. Also, if you've been trying for so long I would definitely suggest making an appointment with your OB or with a fertility specialist, if you haven't already. Good luck!

I have had similar problems with the CBEFM. In fact, for each of my three pregnancies, I never got a "peak" reading those months.
I would use it as a back-up, but use your body's fertility signs as your primary indicator that you've ovulated.
Will echo PP though that if you've been trying for one year, wouldn't hurt to check in with your OB to make sure everything's ok.

Thanks. I have an appointment with my OB/GYn and she will have a referral for us. We were trying to do it naturally due to other prior health complications, but it looks like we'll have to take the RE route. I think I will finish up this month on the monitor and by the start of the next month, I should be seeing a specialist. This totally stinks.
