gettysburg soccer tourn this past weekend

What started off well Saturday, timely, well-organized...turned into a mess on Sunday. Games being canceled, team refusing to play opponent, lack of information - lots of waiting. Is this a typical experience? I ask because this was a holiday weekend and some sacrifices were made to make it all work, driving back and forth, and I'm not sure I would do this again.

There was also one opponent who was making comments to team prior to game, some just gamesmanship, some more unsportsmanlike and committed some outrageous fouls repeatedly (cards were eventually issued for two) . Is this the norm for 13 year old girls? I have not seen this kind of behavior before.

One of the charming young men on one of the teams we played against told one of our players he was going to call ICE on our team... stay classy my friends.
