Naked potty training- go outside?

So we are doing Oh Crap potty training this Memorial Day weekend. DS is 26 months. Planning on him being naked from the waist down and hanging around the house.

But it’s going to be hard to keep him inside all weekend. We don’t really have a backyard we can play in. Most of our time outside is in the front yard. What should we do?

Stay inside for the first day at least. You have to watch him so closely and he needs to be naked from the waist down for it to work.

Super long t-shirt? But I would keep him inside for the first day at least.

I saw someone seeing up a little potty at the playground for their kid. Right there by the climbing structure. Is that acceptable?!

No, we live in DC in a row house. Who cares if a 2 year old is naked? The one neighbor who commented said, “oh, are you doing Oh Crap too?” We had, but we were done.

We stayed on our deck with our water table and did naked time the first day of oh crap and it was great!!! The first few times she was like "what's that water?!" and then she started sitting herself on the portable potty. We only had a few accidents. I think the naked time was key. The next day no accidents.

We'd done the same thing 2 months prior and had 10 accidents the first day and I think developmentally she wasn't ready then.

I saw a kid peeing on the corner of two streets the other day. Totally had pulled his pants down and I could see his bum. Mom was standing right there. He was about 6 or 7. WTF is wrong with people?
