| If you turn down potomac soccer will they invite you back or are you blackballed forever? |
| What age and what team? Is this boys or girls? If girls, they almost certainly won’t hold it against you later. It is probably not an issue with boys either but it would depend on the coach. |
| Boys |
| It depends on the age group and team. I doubt it would be an issue with my son’s current coach. The coach of one of the other teams in the age group would almost certainly not have an issue either. I have no idea about the 3rd coach because we have had less interaction. But keep in mind coaches sometimes will change year to year so the coach that makes the offer this year could be gone next. In some age groups the coaches might stay with the team for many years and some might have hard feelings but my gut says they wouldn’t. |
| You can turn down any offer you want. |
Or shall I say “don’t want”. |

I know a couple of Potomac players that left to go to where the grass was greener in hopes of their soccer career blossoming but most come back and not blackballed.
As parent if I changed clubs, and I see the kid not developing further it is probably not the coaching. |
| We turned down Potomac soccer for a better coach on another team. We went to Potomac later no problem because I needed a carpool to practice and our neighbor played for Potomac. It was a huge mistake and we left the next year though. |
Why? Girls or boys? Age? |
At the time they were U15 boys. The coach was terrible. Rude, immature, boring, didnt understand possession. |
