Recommend a mini van for me, looking for used something good even with high mileage

I’m talking 20k or less, this is not my forever car. This is a get me through the next few years with a low car payment and no repair bills car. Any reason why Chrysler Town and Country is so much less than Honda’s and Toyota’s? I am not much of a car shopper, have gone with Honda in the past because they are a good value and last a long time. But again I don’t need this car to last 10 years, I’m looking for a good value now. Thank you!

Toyotas and Hondas really keep their value. I just bought a used 2015 sienna van, used car guru, had to go all the way out to Pennsylvania to pick it up and I still paid more than 25,000 for it Yes it is a souped up four-wheel-drive XLe, but I was surprised at how expensive even used siennas are. Since you’re not looking for a forever van, but American . Cheaper and not guaranteed to last

I fully concur w/the above PP.

I would actually purchase a Honda or a Toyota now, because since they hold their value tremendously you will get good money back later on when you sell.

If you purchase a Kia, Hyundai or an American car, you will not get much from it when you are ready to upgrade because these brands do not retain much value.

My Town and Country has been fine (2013) - no major issues and I got leather, DVD, etc with 15k for $21k.

This is my 2nd one the first went to about 130k miles before things started going downhill and requiring $$$. I ended up getting $5500 for it (2008 with 130K miles.)

Your best option $-wise is a Chrysler T&C. They no longer make it (Pacifica replaced it) so that's why they fetch low $ in the used market.

Toyota and Honda minivans hold a lot of value in the used market. When we were looking, we ended up buying new as the new one was only $5k more than a 2-year used model, amazingly (Toyota).

My sister has the Kia minivan (fully loaded). It's an amazing car. Her van was closer to $30K, but they are keeping it forever. I'm sure you can get a used one for $20K with lots of life left on it.

OP here I went with the Kia!!! I went to test drive a T&C but it smelled terribly of cigarette smoke, and there was an issue with the breaks. They had a Kia Sedona that was above my my range but they came down on it and bumped up my trade in a lot until I was in my monthly payment window. I LOVE IT, my kids LOVE it lol It is totally what I need right now and hopefully last longer than I need it to. Thanks for all your input!
