Anybody knows where I could buy a nursing bra in DC ?
I just tried the breastfeeding center on K street but they did not have my size. Although, if you know where I could find some pretty ones that would be best, because I don't wan't to look like a granny for the next 6 months. Thank you. |
I got mine on K street, so sorry they don't have your size. Another alternative is Target - I have friends who used theirs and were happy with them. And they're cheaper, so you could get a few and figure out which style works best for you before dropping larger dollars.
Don't know what size you need, but Sylene's in Chevy Chase was recommended to me.
I got a few at Nordstrom. Not cheap, but I look MUCH better than I did in the medela bras I had.
I second Nordstrom. They have LOTS of sizes and wonderful service.
Can you try on bras at Nordstrom (at Pentagon City) or Target (Columbia Heights)? Or do you have to order them over the Internet? Thanks!
Go to Nordstrom, try some on to see what you like, but then buy them online. They are SOOO much cheaper online. I loved an underwire Playtex nursing bra that I tried on in a specialty bra shop (I lived in NJ at the time.). It retailed there for $45 but I bought them online from One Hanes Place for $19!
