Pick Colvin Run!!!! None of the new apartments in Tysons are districted for Colvin Run and they are sitting pretty.

Spring Hill is experiencing a HUGE wave of kids from the development in Tysons. It is only going to get worse. They will have art and music in a cart likely next year to make classroom space available for the projected enrollment. The PTO list their closet to make space. A few years ago, there were 4 kindergarten classes - next year there will be AT LEAST 6. It will be few years of crazy overcrowding before Janie Strauss and the school board does anything to fix the problems looming at Spring Hill.

Colvin Run is AWESOME. My oldest attended Spring Hill as a Kindergartner in 2009, and it was just OK for us (the KG teacher back then didn't have a lot of patience for my son, who is quiet but quirky); however, all my kids went through Colvin Run, which we liked better. Colvin Run has strong leadership, great teachers, and a great academic program (it's an AAP school, but my kids are were in Gen Ed, with a few select AAP classes).
