Not the 4-ever, I read that that was hard to install. It's got good review and seems like a great deal on Amazon. Anybody actually have one?

I have the 4-ever and love it. Not hard to install at all.
OP here - meant to add, neither my husband nor I drive very large cars. He has a prius and I have an older RAV4, which is quite small in the back seat. Will this fit? |
I have an extend2Fit (not 4ever) and it was easy enough to install in the backseat of my Jetta. It's also the only carseat we've ever used.
Backseat of an ‘04 Corolla, no prob. If you plan to RF for a while this seat is an especially great choice because it goes to 50 lbs.
We have it in the backseat of a ford focus and it fits fine (DH and I are both short though so the front seats are pretty far forward). Installation is relatively easy but for the first few months it was so difficult to get the straps tightened when we would put DD in this seat. I never felt like I got it tight enough. It seems to be getting better with time but it was super annoying there for a while trying to get those stupid straps tight.
I have an extend2fit installed on back seat in '16 Rav4, and it is really easy to do the installation. The reason we buy extend2fit because of the extended footrest (good for my skinny & tall boy) & it is less bulky than 4-ever. I like it so far, only one thing I have problem is to extend the footrest to the max for rearfacing, but still it is better than nothing.
We have this one and are big fans. Easy to install, not too heavy for traveling, will fit tall DD for a long time. Getting the cover back on after washing it is a bit of a pain but not terrible. And most importantly - kept DD 100% safe in a bad car accident!
We have one of these in each car - DH does drop off and I do pick up. We love it, DS loves it. Easy to install.
We have one in each car a love it. Very large 2.5 yo (99%+ for both weight and weight) and he is still comfortably rear-facing. Very easy to install.
Get the graco milestone. Got mine for 165 plus a gift card from Target. Similar to the forever but doesn't have a backless booster option. It is small enough to fit in my Kia Spectra (compact car) but very roomy for my girl, not a lot of extra bulk like other seats. SUPER easy to install. We actually only got one and switch between cars. We will get another car seat once she is forward facing since those cost less.
