| Does this make a difference for your child? I am paying for Brand, because I heard it had a better delivery system, but would rather not if possible. Thanks! |

| My 14 yr old is on the generic (guanfacine). It works well for him. It did make him very tired so he also started Focalin XR which did counteract the sleepiness. However, he recently decided to try not taking the Focalin and discovered that he's not sleepy anymore on just the guanfacine (he's been on that for about 3 mos now). No other side effects and his teachers report he is doing much better in class. |
