| We are planning a mini family reunion and would love to find out the best way for reserving a luxury oceanfront house in the Outer Banks (Duck). Is there a particular company that specializes in luxury rentals? Also, what areas in Duck would you recommend? Thanks! |
| Four Seasons neighborhood has some great homes that are large and set up for multiple families. (Some with 10+ bedrooms). I don't think it has any relation to The Four Seasons hotels. I would just google it and find a contact. |
| You might look in Corolla as well-- there is more new construction up there (as well as a supermarket) and a lot of the newer houses are quite nice. |
| Try Corolla Classic Vacations (I think that's what it's called). Also Resort Quest. |

Also curious about places in OBX that have kid friendly activities and restaurants? |
| We booked thru Southern Shores Realty. They have luxury and non luxury. Pretty good company. |

I just came from Duck Landing yesterday. We had the two houses below. Both were amazing. Carolina Designs was the company.

We love Hatteras village for kids. No chain restaurants, but ALL the restaurants are kid-friendly and welcoming. We just make sure we go on the early side for dinner. Of course, our idea of "kid friendly activities" includes going to the beach, going to the sound, going to the pool, day trip to Ocracoke, trip to lighthouse and museum, and maybe mini-golf, kayaking or some other instructed water sport. If you need more structured activities than that, further north may be better for you. |
We used them, too. I would rent from them again. |
