NCRC Sibling Letters

I had thought that NCRC was going to send out sibling letters last Friday. We have not yet received one. Has anyone received admissions letters form NCRC who applied as a sibling of a present or former student? I prefer not to call the school unless necessary, but we have to make a decision about another school early next week.

It sounds like it is necessary for you to call. Even if some letters went out already, yours didn't. And, you need an answer by early next week.

You may have heard the inside story, as you have a child there already. However, the website says end of February. Perhaps they meant this Friday. I would ask around and definitely call if others have received a response. Good luck.

OP, why are you so afraid to call the school? For something like this, I wouldn't rely on an anonymous discussion board. Just pick up the phone and call the school.

OP here. Thanks for the helpful responses. I've found out that letters weren't sent until today. To the PP, I'm not "so afraid" to do anything. I just think that appearing as low maintenance as possible throughout this process, even about the smallest things, makes strategic sense. And, yes, I do think this whole system is crazy. Cheers!

NCRC has a very strong sibling preference. I've not heard of a situation where a sibling was not admitted. Did you get some feedback from the school implying that there were more sibling applicants than spaces for next year?
