| I’m sure this has been mentioned before, but can someone provide the rankings of the va public univerisities. Have they changed a lot over the years ? |
| Rankings? Whose rankings? Using what criteria? |
|
I would rank in tiers
W&M and UVA VT, JMU GMU CNU VCU (but bump GMU up one for engineering or CS) Radford, ODU, UMW everything else |
| There's this thing called google. It can help you answer questions like this one. Perhaps even by major. |
| OMG. There have been multiple threads about this. |
| Don't feed the troll. |
| Depends on the major |
VT bumps up to #1 for engineering. |

" I would rank in tiers
W&M and UVA VT, JMU GMU CNU VCU (but bump GMU up one for engineering or CS) Radford, ODU, UMW everything else VT bumps up to #1 for engineering." And JMU is pretty limited for engineering and therefore only in the third rank if there is any chance of an engineering major. |
If you insist. |
If you know anything about engineering, this is a given. |
and Architecture and Agriculture. |
| JMU #1 for teaching |
|
On an overall basis, JMU is not on the same level as VA Tech at least from an admissions statistics perspective. (Yes, I realize that's no the only measure. But, it is one of the few objective measures.)

Not if it's biomedical. |
