Campagna camps in Alexandria

Any feedback on these camps? Considering them for a rising first-grader -- new to Alexandria schools. Thanks!

My daughter went last year (after her K year) and loved it. We’re doing it again this summer for 5 weeks. It’s well organized, the hours work for working parents, they do lots of field trips. And the cost is very reasonable.

It would also be a good way to meet some of her classmates for first grade if she’s starting a new school.

Sent my kid - terrible experience
Too many out of control kids, too few adults with any skills to work with kids - lots of yelling, lots of “ we are going to sit here and do nothing until so and so can behave” so kids barely have any fun
I was like the first poster the first couple years and thought it was good but looking back it was “good” because it was cheap and had daycare like hours which I needed
The final year we were there I was able to come and do some early pick ups and late drop offs and it was then I found out how it really was
