| Our 3yo dog is the happiest guy around, except when he's on the leash. It's a relatively new thing (within the last 6 months), but whenever he's on the leash and sees another dog, he starts barking like crazy. Off the leash he's friendly and submissive and super playful, but on the leash he gets stressed and barks. Would love to hear from people who were in similar situations and found a dog trainer (we're in Arlington, but happy to see someone in DC or Maryland if they're that good) that they loved and helped resolve the issue. Thanks in advance! |
| KissAble Canine, Behavior United, or Dog Latin for in-home - love all their trainers. Woofs! for classes, but leash reactivity is really better addressed one-on-one. Good luck! |

| Michelle Jackson with Pender Vet Center. She is awesome. |
Thanks! OP here. I checked out the website, but could only find info for her group classes, not individual training. Do you know if she does that, too? https://pendervet.com/organizer/michelle-jackson/ |
Thank you! We had been thinking about KissAble Canine, but hadn't heard about the other two. |
Thanks! |
