If they arrive tomorrow, is that weird?
I don't want to pay the extra $20 surcharge for saturday or sunday delivery. Yes, go ahead and call me cheap, but my mother probably doesn't really want the flowers anyway. |
Not weird. I think most people realize that florists won’t be able to handle the huge demand all on one day. Just tell her you wanted to be sure they’d get there in time.
Mine are arriving Friday, they should last the weekend at least.
Send them early, to her office. She lives for showing off to the other office ladies.
No, Monday if you do this. She'll be able to enjoy them longer. |
Ours are arriving Thursday. Flowers are best when they have a few days to open anyways. I also prefer to receive gifts, flowers and cards before my actual birthday so I can get in the mood.
Nope did the same. In years when I have sent a “thing,” it arrives somewhere around the actual day, so plants/flowers should be no different.
DH had arranged to have mind delivered today. they are gorgeous and will be even more so by Sunday once they fully open.
I had them sent for delivery on friday. That way she will have them all weekend. I didn't want to pay the extra either.
Look at it this way - - if you send a mother's day card don't you send it for delivery before mother's day? I think the same could work for flowers.
OP here, I waited 'til yesterday afternoon and ordered for Friday delivery.
