| Can someone recommend a good Toyota dealership in the Suburban Maryland area? DARCARS customer service has been beyond incompetent and I am looking for a dealership that does a good job. Thanks. |
| Jim Coleman in Bethesda is better than DarCars. But it's still a dealership, so YMMV re: costs and quality of work. Their customer service and friendliness, however, is top-notch. |
| Buying new? Just send request for quotes to 5 or 6 area dealers and see who responds and how...will give you great insight. If they won't give you a full quote unless you come in, skip. |
| Doesn't CarMax sell Toyotas? I'd try them. |
| Fitzgerald |
| Avoid Priority Toyota in Springfield. Try one of the apps, like CarGuru |

I am not looking to buy the car. I already did...that is how I know DARCARS is dreadful....
I am looking for someone to service the car I just bought. I am hoping to find someone in the local area that does not have 1 star reviews on Yelp. Thanks for insight. I should have specified for service. |
| Darcars is the worst! |
|
Don't use a dealership for service unless it's for recall work, or warranty stuff.
Find a good mechanic. Where are you located? We can recommend some! I like to use the Cartalk website, they have a database of highly recommended auto mechanics. (I think it's their "Mechan-X Files") |
+1 to all of this |
Which mechanics in the Bethesda/Potomac/Rockville area do you recommend? My family drive Hondas and Toyotas. |
| Looked up the above site for Fairfax and all the reviews were very old, like 10+ years old, and there were very few of them. Just btw |
| We are in Silver Spring. The car is under warranty with Toyota for two years so I wanted to do the service at a Toyota dealership it’s still covered under warranty . After that point I will look for a good service station . |
HA! I was going to recommend them. We drive there after having multiple horrible experiences at Koons in Tyson’s. |
| Man this thread is eye opening . How and why are so many dealerships so bad ? |
