Hey what happened to that? I am the adult stuttering who was posting and was watching it closely

Someone reported the thread because they found it offensive. I read the first post and decided I thought it was offensive as well. Since I didn't read beyond the first post, I don't know which posts were yours. Did you find it offensive?

No. I found it to be well within the range of crappy comments I’ve gotten as a stutterer. There were some moms of children with speech impediments that I would have been happy to talk to more.

NP here. I was not offended. I concluded that the OP of that thread was either a young adult with a speech impediment, or a parent of someone with a speech impediment - and that they were worried about their (or their child's) long-term career prospects due to most people's perceptions of people who stutter/lisp/etc.
