Please don’t. No one wants them. Give each kid a high five or a book or a Hershey bar. More useful and better for the environment.

If anyone knows what I can do with a closet full of team participation trophies, lmk.

OP didn’t ask your opinion on the worthiness or necessity of trophies. He or she asked where to get them inexpensively.

Good point. Why do you want trophies? Do the team parents want them? Is it the first year of the sport?

Please don’t buy that junk. What do you do with that stuff? We’ve started putting them in charity bags.

How about a smaller medal?
Or something useful like a cap, sweatband or T-shirt? A little towel? A poster for all the kids with various team shots/pictures on it?

There is a place in Burke or Fairfax area (?) that has small, inexpensive, but interesting trophies and has a pretty quick turn around time.

BTW, my DS is not a great player. Never has been, never will be, and only one season did his team make the playoffs. But he and his teammates try hard week after week, season after season, in all sorts of weather (mostly cold/rainy) and have fun. He is proud of his one and only small trophy sitting on his book shelf.

Crown Awards - used them for years when the kids were little. Have also used them for some corporate stuff. Quick, cheap, and good customer service.

I used to order them for K2 in Richmond. They would literally be on my door step two days later.

Thanks for all the recommendations.

I have a suggestion. Give them all to the youngest sibling. If you don’t have one find a preschool or kindergartener. DD used to like to play with them and have silly contests with friends. Freeze dance, singing, etc. They would hand them out as prizes to each other. Older DS didn’t care or notice they were being used and given away.

Please, stop with the trophies. There are alternatives that don’t clutter up everything.

BTW I was being sarcastic when I said to give everything to a random preschooler. I’ve ordered medals from Crown Awards when the parents really wanted something but we didn’t want to give trophies. Inexpensive and fast.
