Montreal WITH kids?

Has anyone been to Montreal WITH kids? I'm curious what hotel/location is best?

I grew up in the Boston area and spent many a night and New Years having lots of fun up there, but never with just my DH and I, or with children. I'm stuck and have been searching for a few hours now. So if anyone has any tips on locations/hotels in the area please share. One important thing is we're looking for a one bedroom suite so we can close the door and help him sleep.

It was very spacious and family friendly. The location worked well for us.
