| Just got a notice that my upcoming Norweigan Air flight from Newark to Rome was just switched to Privilege Style with all the same itinerary details, but they said that inflight entertainment would be limited. It looks like Privilege Style is a Spanish charter service. Anyone know what to expect here? They gave us the option to rebook or refund, which I am not going to do, but we are traveling with a two year old so just curious if this will be more painful or the same. |

Should be very similar...Norwegian wet leases planes to cope with high demand, and these are generally newer planes, although with limited amenities.
The plane itself will likely be fine, no premium style seating but otherwise fine. |
Got it. Thanks. I wasn't expecting premium seating from Norweigan, so no loss there. |
Good luck! https://www.dansdeals.com/points-travel/airlines/airline-news/have-you-purchased-an-el-al-flight-and-wound-up-on-a-privilege-style-airplane/ FYI, a "wet lease" is an airline industry term- it means the airline is leasing an entire plane and crew to operate the flight. As opposed to a dry lease where you are just leasing the plane, but you supply your own crew and supplies, etc. |
