| Do students still need a doctor's approval to have sunscreen applied at school? |
| Yes |
| No. |
| Maybe. |
| Outlook not so good. |
| I send my kids to school with sunhats. when they have recess before lunch, I just have them wear their hats in the morning. But my family has a history if skin cancer so I am super paranoid. I don;t assume sunscreen will be reapplied during the day. |
| Fuzzy. Try again later. |

--teacher and parent. |
Not even with the medication form signed by a doctor? |
| But some long lasting sunscreen on in the morning and call it a day. You can buy body & face lotion with sun screen as well. Buy a small hand bag size, put it in there backpacks. Most schools allow kids to have their own loitons. |
| Yeah. I really don't see an issue. I put sunscreen on my daughter before school and it lasts until pickup. They aren't going in water or sweating it all off during the day. |
My kid is active so he will sweat it off. |
Your kid isn’t going to get that much outdoor time. |
Then the nurse would have to do it |
| I thought DC council just passed a bill last Fall to change the rules so kids can bring it to school and apply it themselves without a note. |
