| Teachers of DCUM, what is your wish list for Teacher Appreciation Week? What should stay? What should go? |
| Sticky notes |
| Dry erase markers, lunch, clorox wipes |
| Clorox wipes for sure, Kleenex, note of appreciation |
| I would love a quality pencil sharpener. |
| Glue sticks, cardstock, maybe a coffee. |
| Good quality pencils with good quality erasers. Glue sticks. Dry erase markers. |
| Kleenex and disinfecting wipes top my wish list! |
|
Here is what I currently want/need:
Teachers Pay Teachers gift card! Kleenex or Puffs Plus colorful cardstock laminating pouches |
| Dry erase markers. Especially if you see some in fun colors post its. The giant sized ones. |
|
Pencils. Good ones--the cheap ones never sharpen correctly and end up trashed by frustrated kids.
A note of appreciation. Preferably cc-ing admin. That's really it. Whiteboard markers are great, food is always appreciated...but it's not necessary. Our middle school's PTA is only 6 moms, so I know there's little budget for it. |
|
Funny that for teacher appreciation, teachers ask for office supplies.
Signed, a teacher who could really use some colored pencils. And maybe a coffee. |
| Copy paper, paper towels, decent pencils, a new pencil sharpener, maybe a TPT giftcard. Respect. |
|
A note of appreciation. TPT or oriental trading gift card (special ed teacher- most of my prize box items come from oriental trading).
I had a parent once order pizza for lunch for myself and the assistants in my room; that was very appreciated. If you want to do a gift card, think outside of the box. I received a fandango gift card with a note that said "you spend so much time on my family, take the time to do something with your family". For me, that showed me this family understood how much time I take from my family time to do school work. That understanding was the best gift. |
Right?! —another teacher who would love a rainbow of sharpies. |
