Flag Ponds Nature Park for fossil / sharks teeth hunting followed by Calvert Marine Museum.

You said natural wonders, but if you have young kids, up to PA to Dutch Wonderland and the train museum.

Annapolis is really nice.

Gettysburg - my ES age kids liked this a lot since we let them play at devil’s den.

Luray Caverns - yes very cool
