How soon can I use an HPT?

Had sex last night, period is due in two weeks. Is it too early for an HPT?

Yes! I would wait until the day your period is due to test. Do you have any idea of when you ovulated? I have heard of positives as early as ten days after ovulation.

Yes, it is. Without getting into the finer nuances of different pg tests . . . schedule an appointment with your OB/GYN in three weeks for a pregnancy blood test.

You might try to check out a good book on women's biology at the library . . . I do like "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" but it is a bit dense for the novice.

10 dpo : 35%
