| I am sure this was asked before, but could someone post salary and total compensation here if you work as a senior counsel at a large company with 6+ years of experience. |
| a senior counsel at a fortune 100 will have a lot more than 6 years experience. That is very junior at most in house shops. |
Agreed. 6 years usually lands you a corporate counsel position. Ballpark for senior counsel (would typically require 10+ years) would be 170-220K base, 20-35% bonus, then some type of stock grant or options (my company gives a grant of 20-80K depending on seniority, performance, etc). |
This sounds pretty spot on. |
| Senior counsel in house is still pretty junior. But 150-200k is about the right range. You then move up to assistant gc, associate gc, assosciate dc who is also a vp etc. |
| Well there is an ad looking for senior counsel with 6+ years of experience. So they don't look for senior counsel? |
