| These threads are starting to disappear as fast as people put them up. Must be some serious damage control and pissed off people at CYA! |
| I noticed that too. Are we not allowed to talk about it? Seems strange that this thread keeps getting deleted, but people argue back and forth about nothing and that is allowed. |

Cya put out the coaching list and besides a few returning to purple, I noticed several coaches moving from the C team to A.
That’s a bit ridiculous to me.... |
| Could be SYA pulling the plug too |
Previous posters weren’t exaggerating. Their best coaches are walking out the door. |
The new coaches they're bringing in, from what I've heard, are E-licensed at best. To pay their fees for a low-licensed coach on an top team is outrageous. The fees are one of the biggest things that pushed us out the door. For what you get, not worth it. Even more so now. |

SYA finally posted tryout information:

| Did anyone attend the town hall meeting CYA held? Any mention of a merger down the line or their plans moving forward? |
Not that anything that was said last night would be believable.... |
| Just go with SYA, they have stable leadership and very little drama. Competitive teams at all age groups. We left CYA years ago before leaving to join Herndon, then realize it was not working out so we went to SYA. |
Yep, SYA seems to know what they're doing... |
| So how has all of this worked out? Have SYA and CYA tryouts gone well? Is the merger still in the works? |
| I've heard that they will merge but they put it on hold for this year. It was too big an undertaking, too close to the start of a new season. |
|
CYA is having problems at the younger age groups.

Is this for a specific sport? |
