Cruises with a toddler?

I've heard that cruises are great as family vacations with little kids. Has anyone done a Royal Caribbean cruise out of Baltimore? Looks like they go to Bermuda from there. It sounds a bit less crazy than the Disney cruises. Not sure I can handle that, yet I keep hearing how much fun they are. But for introverted adults (or does it matter)? Has anyone done both Disney and RC cruises and can compare? What do you recommend? My daughter will be 2 next year.
