Opinions on Bradley Hills Elementary?

I'd love to hear any feedback from current parents about Bradley Hills. I live in this neighborhood and am trying to figure out whether I should just plan to send my daughter there or if I should research private schools in the area as well. Any particularly positive or negative things about Bradley Hills?

We moved to this neighborhood because the schools in the Pyle district are so good and because we didn't want to stay in NW DC and have to pay for private schools. I actually toured the school with the former principal and asked lots of questions before we made the decision to buy our house here! In particular, Bradley Hills has a really terrific principal right now who sets a great tone and is passionate about inclusion. The kids are very nice to each other, as far as I've seen, and the education has been just fine. One of the biggest benefits is that the children make friends in their own neighborhood and can play together after school. I don't want to share too much personal detail, but I have one child with significant disabilities and one who is highly gifted, and for the most part, I feel their needs (were and) are well met.

Would love to hear about recent experiences with Bradley Hills ES. Is it one of the good ones? What can future parents do now to make it better? If we choose public, this is our neighborhood school in a few years.
