We moved to this neighborhood because the schools in the Pyle district are so good and because we didn't want to stay in NW DC and have to pay for private schools. I actually toured the school with the former principal and asked lots of questions before we made the decision to buy our house here! In particular, Bradley Hills has a really terrific principal right now who sets a great tone and is passionate about inclusion. The kids are very nice to each other, as far as I've seen, and the education has been just fine. One of the biggest benefits is that the children make friends in their own neighborhood and can play together after school. I don't want to share too much personal detail, but I have one child with significant disabilities and one who is highly gifted, and for the most part, I feel their needs (were and) are well met.
