Recommendation for a bargain luggage scale?

I'm usually a carry-on only person, but my kid is going to need to check some luggage to get to and from college, so she'll need a luggage scale to take to school. Any recs?

I have one close to this-- handy but I don't think there's magic to which one you get.

What I find handy is a super lightweight nylon bag that you can pack in your luggage and then if you are overweight you can either carryon or check another bag.

I aways stand on a digital bathroom scale holding my luggage and it's pretty accurate.

I nearly specified that I am aware that lots of people weigh themselves holding their luggage, but then I sort of wanted to see if DCUM would be its usual self, and presto!

You can find cheap ones in the travel section at TJMaxx or Marshall’s. Handheld hook-style.
