| Heading to Vegas with the husband soon (just us, no kids). Staying on the strip and looking for buffet and regular restaurant suggestions (within walking distance of Mirage). We appreciate good food and are willing to spend some money, but don't want anything ridiculously expensive. Probably the highest I'd ever go is $50 an entrée and that food had better be super amazing! |
| The buffet in the Cosmopolitan is one of the better ones on the strip. |

About a mile's walk from the strip: https://lotusofsiamlv.com/
I ate at the original location (currently closed) and loved it. |
| Agree about Cosmopolitan buffet. Rose Rabbit Lie, also there, is a cool experience with great food that won’t break the bank. We |
| No, the Buchannel Buffet at Casears is constantly rated the number 1 buffet in Vegas. Pricey but worth it. |
Aureole at Mandalay Bay. Michelin starred but not outrageously priced. Partial because my wedding reception was there

| Off the strip but very good: Raku and Lotus of Siam |
| NP. Do you need to make reservations at these restaurants? Thanks, |
Depends when you go. Most were pretty empty the few times we went. They acted like you needed a reservation but had 2/3rds empty tables. |
| It may seem silly to go when you can go here, but the Head Chef at Jaleo (in the Cosmopolitan) is a DC transplant, with longtime roots in DC. He is a veteran of Jaleo and Café Atlantico, and his family owned Mixtec in Adams Morgan and Enriqueta's in Georgetown for years. |
I am a huge fan of Jose Andres, but to me this is the equivalent of families that go on vacation and eat at Applebee’s. |
| I love Tao if you like Asian food. |
| WIcked Spoon buffet |
| Milos in the Cosmopolitan was fabulous! |
