First anniversary gifts?

Did you buy gifts for your DH/DW?

I bought DH two tickets to see one of his favorite MLS teams (paper) and a wall clock.

We also bought our wedding albums as a joint gift together.

What did you go with? Paper can be a hard theme.

Nope. Going on 13 years and not a single anniversary gift has been purchased. I'm not a gift person, so I'd rather save the money and splurge on a trip later in the year with all the money saved from no anniversary, valentine's, birthday, etc. gifts. Our anniversary isn't a good time for DH's job to travel. I might be a rare breed though.

+1. I like experiences rather than material things. The tickets to the game sound like a perfect gift. Congrats on the anniversary.
