The whole family probably could have reconciled by now if it wasn’t for Angelina always privately and publicly attacking the father of her children and doing everything to cut him out of the kids’ lives.

+1 he made terrible mistakes but got clean and did his best to rebuild with the kids, but she wasn’t having it. I think the root of this is more financial than anything else. If he had been very generous from the moment they split, I bet things would have gone more smoothly.

Not really. He paid for security and therapists (both expensive) but that’s pretty much it. He loaned rather than gifted her money toward her new home (aka home for the kids), meanwhile a lot of her money was tied up in Miraval. She sued because he wasn’t paying meaningful child support. He could have done better, just contributed more fuel to the fire.

Why is this a bad thing? Both of them should be responsible for providing a place for their kids to stay whenever the kids are with them. Why didn’t she have any money?

Does Brad Pitt have a history of being abusive? Abusive men tend to be abusive in all of their relationships, like Diddy. I don’t see in his history that Brad is an abusive man. I think Angelina has exaggerated his faults because she wanted sole custody of the children and to “win” the image war after their divorce. She has a history of manipulating the media and adopting different “personas”. First she was the wild child, then humanitarian/single mother, then part of a power couple. It seems the new image she wants is that of a single mother/abuse victim. It’s not healthy to still be going on about this eight years after the fact. It seems to be the only thing she talks about. Why do Jolie’s fans insist that any criticism of her is rooted in misogyny? I think it is a true observation of her. She hasn’t been able to find a man to replace Brad. If she had someone else, she wouldn’t be constantly crying about how he treated her and obsessed with trying to tarnish his image.

Another observation of her: she didn’t know from the fact that she was having an affair with him while he was with Aniston that he was someone who didn’t respect his wife? Look at he way he treated Aniston when he divorced her. Aniston even said he was missing a sensitivity chip and that he was self-centered in their marriage. Did Jolie think she was so special that she would be treated differently?

If he had another family with his new girlfriend and he showed the world that he’s a good dad and Jolie is the problem/parental alienator. And then he cut those kids out of his will and left everything to his new family. That would really burn Jolie, seeing as she is seemingly broke and desperately in need of money.

Many of us have formed our opinions of these two years ago. As the divorce has gone on and on, our opinions haven't changed.

Maybe you are younger than I am, maybe you have not grown up with these two. Maybe your opinion is still being formed. But for me, no recent information has been enough to alter my opinion.

If he had another family with his new girlfriend and he showed the world that he’s a good dad and Jolie is the problem/parental alienator. And then he cut those kids out of his will and left everything to his new family. That would really burn Jolie, seeing as she is seemingly broke and desperately in need of money.

You can have as negative opinion of him as you wish but he hasn't shown himself to be vindictive or to hate his children or treat them badly, apart from the plane incident. There's no reason to think that he would cut off his children like you are hoping.

She is worth millions on her own because of her association with Pitt. I get that he should assist in providing support and home for the kids. But why does a person with $100 million + net worth need to borrow money for a home?
