It appears that he is going to be very present and into it when she goes back on tour. I think this is just her doing her part for him. The guys she's dated in the past haven't been very supportive or present at her concerts, and whether this relationship is real or not, they are showing that they will support each other's careers. I guess we'll see how he acts at her concerts, but I have a feeling he will put on a similar show.

I agree that he will most likely attend when he can, but just wanted to point out out that Matty Healy was at all of her shows while dating. In fact he performed with Phoebe/ opening acts when I was there in Philly.

Faith Hill went to all of Tim McGraw's concerts even when they were not touring together. He did the same. They wanted to keep all together. That is sweet. And no, no one said he was going to all her concerts. In season he has Sunday night and perhaps Monday off most weeks. That is it. For him season will run through second week in February. Soi no I think he will only go to a few dates until the season is over.

That is ridiculous right? but based upon the last 2 pages it seems like the consensus is watching people work is required to “support” them. Why? We expect people to travel all the time for work- the only difference here is fame.

This thread has gone so off the rails I'm not sure what we are even talking about or whether or not we even disagree. To your comment isn't it okay not to cheer the person on....In the early days of a relationship if you don't want to go watch your partner do something they love to do that means you aren't that into them, period. Don't you remember those early days with whoever the big love of your life was/is? You would have probably watched paint dry with them just to be together. Of course over time that changes, but Taylor and Travis are in those early with all those hormones and love chemicals kicking in so it tracks they want to go to each other's things.

And whether you are a parents or a love interest, come on, watching your child/love interest perform as a Foo Fighter or as Taylor Swift is a little different than watching them present a slide deck right? Of course it is.

How is this any different than attending a football game? Also, her parents attend all of her concerts just like his parents attend his/brother’s games. Their families are very much alike in many ways.

Well…. Taylor’s concerts are the same thing over and over again and football games…. Aren’t. The opponents are different, they plays are different.
Some musicians also change set lists, but, not Taylor, so there is that.

I imagine the concerts are different experiences for her parents, in that each town they probably visit with different people. Aunt Larla lives in NJ so we'll see her backstage at this show. Bestie from childhood moved to this town so we'll see her there. I'm sure it's fun, and like another PP said, traveling in private jets and staying in luxury accomodations probably make it more fun.

I believe this is definitely the case. This may be a bit of an odd analogy but many, many years ago I did political tour work. There's more variation by location than a concert tour but the bones of a rally don't change much as you go around. It's still interesting because you see how different crowds respond, you're meeting new people, providing support based on the day to day realities that change. There's also an appreciation for most that this is a very unique experience, it won't be something you do forever, and a privilege to observe from that vantage point.

How is this any different than attending a football game? Also, her parents attend all of her concerts just like his parents attend his/brother’s games. Their families are very much alike in many ways.
