Average Size of Kindergarten Class in Arlington County Schools

What is the average size of a kindergarten class at Taylor Elementary or Arlington Science Focus?

You should contact the schools directly if you want information about specific schools. Someone asked a general question about kindergarten class size in public schools a few weeks ago and a lot of people in Arlington schools said 21/22/23. I think the max is 23 before they have to create a new class; the schools are crowded this year.

Max is 23, and this year I think that's what Taylor has, but last year the K classes had about 18.

What's with the 2004 population bulge, anyway? They aren't election babies.

I think it's just a general growth in families moving into Arlington. I know on my street when we moved in in 2006, we were the only one with kids. Now there are 2 families with babies, 1 family with a 2 year old, and another family with 3 kids. I also know a bunch of people who have moved to Arlington from DC.
