Detox practices

I just returned from a week long conference of lots of work and socializing, booze, rich food, and no workouts except for walking. I feel gross. What are some things I can do to detox?

Get in your micronutrients and hydrate.

Salads with spinach and lean meat
Lean meat with steamed vegetables
Peppermint tea can help bloating

I would fast for one day at least with lots of water.

A sweaty hard workout to clean out your cells of waste products and toxic crap.

- no alcohol for a week (or more)
- eat lots and lots of whole fruits and vegetables. Think you've had enough? Eat more fruits and vegetables.
- drink lots of water
- exercise
- keep your salt to a minimum (you do need some, especially with the exercise)
