Homeland April 8 episode

Thoughts? Freaking ending. Carey is driving me crazy she’s so selfish!!

Yes, it i think that's the point. She is an extreme case, how different is she really from others who get so caught up with work while trying to raise kids?

BTW I had to turn the channel for a few minutes when I saw Franny running down the steps. I just couldn't watch to see what happened (or not) to her.

My blood pressure was through the roof watching that show - so stressful!! Clare Danes is a brilliant actress; she really embodies Carrie, in all her toxicity and complexity. DH thinks the character has a personality disorder, and Danes just nails that. With a lesser actress, the show would be totally different. And Mandy Parinkin as Saul - incredible, incredible acting.

I love Mandy Patinkin. I have done since Yentel. In fact I think I fell in love with my DH because he bears more than a passing resemblance.

That aside, the episode was good - I think she probably SHOULD lose custody of her child, in all honesty.

Good that Saul has finally employed her as part of his team so she can stop running up credit cards - that was my main thought.

Did anyone start yelling at the TV when Oleg just walked into Dante's room, as if in real life he wouldn't have had guards posted right outside or even inside the room. I know they needed it for the plot but . . .

Yes, I was like if he's that important of a witness in bringing the entire presidency down, Cari would have never left Dante's hospital room, they would NEVER leave him alone and would be all over those guys. They have been doing a lot of things like that this season where it's a REAL stretch to believe. I know it's fake and just tv but...Cari would have never opened that file that infected her computer. I knew it was a virus. So may instances but I still love it and it's entertaining.

+1
also the russian guy would immediately kill dante rather than open a lengthy conversation with the goal of convincing him that he was treated fairly... what was the end game there? he surely understood he had no time to waste.
