My kids have gone for years to the regular day camp (aging out soon). It is well run with a fun set of activities. There used to be more field trips/swimming trips, but they've cut those back in the last few years; however, it's still a fun camp. Many kids go for multiple weeks, and many are from schools with KAH as aftercare providers, so they may already know the counselors and other kids. If your kid just goes for one week and is new, they may have a harder time making friends, but I think a word to the counselors could help with smoothing that situation. They have good supervision and staff. We tend to use them as our "base" camp for multiple weeks, since their hours and rates are pretty good, and then do a couple of weeks of more specialty camps to fill out the summer.
