| Sidwell Summer's Bethesda Campus has a sports camp (Soccer and basketball) and a Day Camp with Left Noodle right Noodle. LNRN will also have Arlington programs. We've also done All American Sportz Campz - for winter break out of falls church (arlington spring break is in arlington - usually HB Woodlawn). Good Luck! |

| Friends of the National Zoo's has an award-winning camp, running for four days (December 28-31) from 9am-3pm with extended care available until 6pm. Small classes, experienced teachers, and of course the animals! Spaces available for 2nd though 5th graders. www.fonz.org |

Well, it's probably a good thing you didn't do what I did and sign up for the McLean Community Center's winter camp for next week.
They emailed YESTERDAY to say the camp is cancelled due to low enrollment. WTH am I supposed to do now? I'm using up all of my leave *this* week because the snow canceled school! Hello, both parents work in a lot of families around here! |

If it is not too far - come over Chain Bridge and join us at Sidwell's Lower School, we had a great week last week with many kids from Arlington Public Schools once they canceled. We have LNRN 'Postcards from the USA' for grades PK - 4th and Basketball (9 am - Noon) and Soccer (12:30 - 3) for grades K-6th. You can come tomorrow morning or sign up online at www.sidwell.edu/summer - go to Apply Now or "School Year Camps" for the flyer/paper application. Yes, as a parent of a public school kid that was supposed to be in school last week - it was tough! Thank goodness he cold come to 'work' with mom! Good Luck.
