I LOVE being a mom!!!

I am so sore!!! Not because I just worked out for 1 hour (which I should have), but because I just had a 30 minute smiling contest w/ my 9 week old DS. My cheeks feel like they can't move anymore

Is there anything else I have to look forward to?

Can't recall exactly when DS started, but one of my favorites is when he leans his head into me (or the stuffed animal, or a toy he loves) and nuzzles itl. LOVE that one. And the hugs. Real actual hugs. He's only 13 months old so I look forward to things to come!

Hey, good post! I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old. More is to come, ladies! It really is the best thing in the world (hard to be sure, but so wonderful too!)

My 14 month old learned how to blow bubbles in the bathtub tonight, and earlier today he learned how to nod YES. YES! more scrambled eggs! We were all cheering! And my 4.5 year old is reading some words and writing books...and saving ALL of her allowance to buy a house. They are both incredible. So yes, there are 1000 things to look forward to, and as a friend of mine said when I asked about my first infant "does it get easier?" -- yes, it gets easier and harder and better and more infuriating and more wonderful...

I could not imagine a more perfect or harder thing to be than a mom. I love it all. How about raspberries? They all learn it, and it is so cute. What could be more perfect than enjoying your children.

How about when their little eyes light up and a smile starts when you walk into their room to pick them up out of their crib...first thing in the morning.

Melts my heart each time

I love when my 7 month old looks at me with a big smile in his face and touches my face. It is the highlight of my day!!!

My five-month-old is doing what I call her Helen Keller impression. She reaches out and touches people's faces, all over, and so gently. I love to just sit there while she runs her little hands all over my face.

My daughter is 10 months and now, every morning when my husband kisses me good bye, she makes a "mmmmmmmmm" kissing noise. It is so funny, and there seems to be something new every few days. It is the best.

We're getting giggles from DS (5 months). It's just so sweet.

Thanks for the positive thread.

Our almost two year old is very verbal and her sentences crack us up ... "I need massage, Mommy." "Rub my back more." "Daddy, rub Mommy's back now."

I could spend all day snuggling with my roly-poly 6 month old. She's scrumptious! And my older daughter cracks me up constantly. Yes, being a mom is the GREATEST!!!! I have two kids and can't wait to have a third!

I love it all, but right now DS is just about to start laughing and rolling over, and I love the anticipation. Maybe today will be the day he gets his elbow out of the way and rolls onto his tummy? Maybe tomorrow will be the day he finally lets out the laugh that we know is in there? It reminds me that every moment when they're this young is precious, and that they grow up so fast!

This is great! Before kids I always found it funny how moms would think their kid is the best and brightest etc. But now, being the mom, I honestly think by two kids are the most beautiful, brightest, cutest etc (and of course, not because I am their mom but because they just are My husband always laughs at me for this
