Darker down there after Progesterone

After 2 natural cycles, we decided to try a round with birth contol, injectables and Progesterone. I happen to glance down there and everything is noticably darker. Has anyone else noticed this?

Is "down there" referring to your vulva? Or some part of your genitals? I didn't notice that, specifically, though during pregnancy in general (after IVF) my freckles darkened on my face and arms.
