Is Stella wildly popular right now?

Just wondering. I like this name a lot but would knock it off our list if it's too trendy currently. Do you hear it often?

I think it’s adorable. I have a cat named StellaLuna.

It’s my daughter’s (family) middle name, but I’m only aware of a couple other small ones, neither of which are local.

I don't really hear it much but check the SSA list to see how it's trending nationally and locally.

I hear it called occasionally...

I hear it pretty frequently for both dogs and young girls.

I have a 20 year old Stella. FWIW she loves her name but does have to deal with the occasional STELLA, STELLA...
I really wanted to name her Sophia, but Stella was my husband's grandmother name so I went with a little half-heartedly. It was not well received initially by coworkers/friends, but became mainstream soon after. Plus it really suits her. Good luck!

ugh. Not a fan. It falls into the same category as Scarlett to me. Harsh names

Not wildly popular, but is trending up quickly. I think it's a name that could be wildly popular in another five years, based off of the popularity charts.

It is pretty popular among people I know. I know of at least 5 little toddler and baby Stellas between neighbors, friends of friends, preschool classmates, mom's club, etc. it's a nice name but I think very trendy as it is a cooler alternative to the very popular Ella, Isabella, etc.
